Structural Diagram of ARTIKUL-S Direction Finder
Features:
- Two-channel digital radio receiver is installed inside DF antenna system providing for high interference protection, sensitivity and DF accuracy
- To prevent overloading of Direction Finder's digital path in complicated electromagnetic environment, digital radio receiver includes additional analogue paths with 500 kHz bandwidth (model 4) and 80, 24, 1.2 MHz (model 5)
- In case of operating frequency range of 20-3000 MHz weight of the antenna system doesn't exceed 40 kg
- The distance between antenna systems and operator's location can be up to 100 m
- Operation as a part of ARCHA-IN stations and ARTIKUL-SN systems.
Direction Finder Provides:
- Panoramic spectrum analysis within the entire operating frequency range or within separate intervals in complicated electromagnetic environment, accommodation to ambient radio environment and detection of its changes
- Search for emission sources within selected frequency ranges, including frequency hopping signals
- Plotting frequency-time diagram of loading within analyzed frequency ranges.
- Automatic direction finding of radio emission sources with random modulation types and spectrum width in single-channel and multi-channel modes
- Selective direction finding of 2G/3G/4G/5G Base Stations
- Selective (time-slot based) direction finding of subscriber 2G terminals (mobile phones, trackers, etc.), operating at the same frequency
- Selective (related with ID of radio emission source) direction finding of DECT base stations and radiophones, TETRA, DMR, APCO P25, dPMR, NXDN radiostations
- Selective direction finding of Wi-Fi communication devices with recognition of MAC-address, including those that use non-standard frequency ranges.
- Building of bearing panorama within operating frequency range
- Real-time display of bearings, spectrum panorama, bearing history and signal amplitude history
- Evaluation of signal parameters
- Recording of I/Q samples and radio spectra
- Automated radio monitoring based on preset schedule or under operator control
- Automated control of equipment health
- Review and processing of the data from DB
- Mapping DB information on the electronic map
- Generation of reports with radio monitoring results in Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, HTML and PDF file formats.
In case of joint operation, the direction finders provide:
- Interaction via wire and wireless channels
- Assigning tasks from master direction finder to slave ones, being operated within the same system
- Transfer of radio monitoring data from slave direction finders to master one for further analysis and processing
- Synchronous direction finding of radio signal sources
- Transmitter location evaluation based on direction finding data
- Operation of several direction finders (when communication equipment is available) as a part of Automated Spectrum Monitoring Systems (ARMADA, AREAL etc.)
