Transportable Azimuth-Elevation Direction Finder
Purpose:
- Search for radio emissions, including control and data channels of UAV and communication channels of other aircrafts
- Azimuth and elevation direction finding of UAV and other aircrafts with active radio facilities
- Radio monitoring and direction finding of ground radio transmitters
- Direction finding of radio emission sources located inside multistorey buildings
Typical configuration:
- DF antenna system with integrated two-channel digital radio receiver (azimuth-elevation DF operating frequency range 400-8000 МГц) and navigation equipment
- Power supply unit
- Control and display unit with software packages for radio monitoring, cartography and technical analysis: SMO-PPK, SMO-STA, SMO-ASPD, SMO-KN.

Features:
- The distance between antenna system and operator's location can be up to 100 m
- Operation at temporary stops standalone and/or together with other technical means

- Option to operate as a part of AREAL-6.
Direction Finder Provides:
- Identification of UAV, when identifying information transmitted via control channel in open mode is available
- Automatic selective direction finding (azimuth and elevation) of several radio emission sources simultaneously
- Recording of radio signals (IQ) to a storage device
- Navigation as well as time synchronization with GPS/GLONASS systems
- Creation of UAV' databases, their extension and comparing of the recorded data with the references
- Localization of UAV and other aircrafts with active radio facilities in real time (when joint operation of several ARTIKUL-TAU2 units)
- Displaying of location and path of detected aircrafts in electronic map
- Assessment of hazard degree for monitored UAV with active radio facilities (control and data channels)
- Technical analysis, determination of modulation type and evaluation of radio signal parameters
- Decoding service information of digital communications network base station signals: GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G, CDMA (IS-95, cdma2000, EV-DO), TETRA, DMR, dPMR, NXDN, APCO P25, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee
