Mobile Direction Finder
Purpose:
- Search, detection, evaluation of parameters, direction finding, recording, technical analysis and classification of signals within HF, VHF, UHF and SHF ranges.
Typical configuration:
- Direction Finder inside radio dismountable or fixed transparent radome with integrated two-channel radio receiver and navigation equipment (operating frequency range 20 - 8000 MHz, max. simultaneous bandwidth 24 or 100 MHz)
- Control and display unit with SMO-PPK, SMO-STA, SMO-KN, SMO-ASPD Software Packages

- Operation in Ground-Ground, Ground-Air, Air-Ground modes
- Within 20 – 3000 MHz frequency range operating elevation range is -10° … +40°
- Within 3000 – 8000 MHz frequency range operating elevation range is 0° … +60°
- Two-channel digital radio receiver is installed inside DF antenna system providing for high interference protection, sensitivity and DF accuracy
- To prevent overloading of the direction finder digital path in complicated electromagnetic environment, digital radio receiver includes additional analogue narrow-band paths
- Weight with batteries is 65 kg max, dimensions are 1720×1280×788 mm
- The distance between antenna systems and operator's location can be up to 100 m
- Operation as a part of ARCHA-RP Fixed Station
- Navigation equipment integrated with the antenna system allows evaluating coordinates and course of the direction finder both while moving and at temporary stops.
